The Lakeview Family Health Team (LVFHT) welcomes and encourages people with disabilities to use its services and will make all reasonable efforts to meet the needs of people with disabilities.  Access to programs and services for people with disabilities will be provided in a manner that respects the rights to dignity, independence and intergration.  The policy is intended to ensure that the Lakeview Family Health Team (LVFHT) meets or exceeds the standards set by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 ("AODA") and the Integrated Standards Regulations (IASR) contained therein.  Persons with disabilities will be given an opportunity equal to that given to others to obtain, use and benefit from the programs and services.
